This seed
mixture consists of perennial (apart from Yellow Rattle which is an
annual) wild flower seeds (20% by weight) and wild grass species (80% by
weight). It contains species able to tolerate a fluctuating water
table and periods of being waterlogged. Most plants need to be
well established to withstand winter flooding, so seeding needs to take
place very early in autumn or better still, in spring. All of the
wild flower seeds are of British native wild origin. The grass
seed is of British native wild origin where possible (marked with W).
The seeds should be sown at the rate of 4g per square metre. The
